Story
-
These men were primarily Egyptian migrant workers. They had traveled to Libya for work
-
They were kidnapped by members of ISIS in December 2014.
-
The men were forced to kneel on the beach, where they were beheaded. Their last words were “Ya Yassou3 (My Lord Jesus)”
-
They were canonized in the Coptic Orthodox Church.

We are blessed to witness this 21st century sainthood which seemed to many to be only 3rd century stories.

A cathedral was built for them in their village in Minya
