Different Times - Same Sacrifice

  • Looking at the center of the iconostasis, you see—from top to bottom—the Cross, the Last Supper, and the altar—a powerful reminder that the sacrifice on the altar is the same as in the Upper Room and on the Cross - The Body and Blood of Christ

Under the Cross

  • Under the cross, we see St Mary and the only disciple to stay with Jesus - St John the Beloved.

  • According to the Gospel of John..

    • When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. (John 19:26,27).
