Story

  • In Matthew Chapter 2, the Holy Family fled to Egypt after an angel warned Joseph of Herod’s plan to kill Jesus.

  • They stayed in Egypt around 3.5 years until Herod's death.

  • Upon returning, Joseph settled in Nazareth in Galilee after being divinely warned to avoid Judea.
