Story
-
St. Moses was a worshipper of the sun who committed many sins
-
One day he asked God to reveal Himself to him. He went to the wilderness and met St. Isodore the priest and St. Macarius the Great who baptised him.
-
During his public confession, St. Macarius saw a black tablet symbolizing St. Moses’ sins. An angel appeared, erasing each sin as he confessed, until the tablet was entirely white.
-
St. Moses spent many years fighting the devil and often sought St. Isodore for guidance. He increased his worship, fasting, and prayer in return.
-
He was killed by the Berbers and received the crown of martyrdom
